Moto G 2014 (Second Generation) Defects and disadvantages

Moto G 2 (2nd Generation) Defects and Disadvantages

Moto g is one of the greatest smartphone launched by Motorola at an amazing price range with low to medium specs . The first version of Moto g came out it 2013 with some cool specs like 4.5" Display , 1 GB Ram , Adreno 305 , 5 MP camera etc and then they launched a new device .. sucessor of mogo g 2013 - Known as Moto G 2nd Generation which is quite impressive according to its specs , price range etc .  But today we are not here to discuss about the advantages of this device . we are here to discuss the defects and disadvantages of Moto g 2nd Generation  .

What are the defects in Moto g 2nd Generation

Right now i am going to discuss some of the disadvantages or defects that you are going to face if you buy Moto g . These are not defects or disadvantages of this device itself but its way of selling , customer service etc .

1 ) Only Available In Flipkart

This is one of the greatest cons of this device , you can only get it through flipkart . but as many people here in India dont like to shop online just because of the fear of getting scammed .
One of my friend also got scammed from flipkart you can Read it here

In India most people like to buy expensive things from retail shops as they are fond of getting some discount too . The problem of selling the device only on Flipkart is that it is not sure that the mobile is always in STOCK . many people want to buy device but due to lack of stock many willing customers leave this device .

2) If Screen is Broken just forget your device

Yes its true , if you accidentally damage your screen of moto g then you will land up paying Rs 7,000 for the Replacement of the screen ! yes 7k for just a screen and the price of the mobile is Rs 12,999 isnt it just crazy ? i mean if i owned moto g and the screen broke .. why the hell would i spend Rs 7k to get it repaired ? i would simply get some moto e 2nd generation or Redmi or something . Not just a god damm screen .

3) Danger of getting defective piece (or accessories )

I have seen many reviews on the sales page of this device that many customers have god defective charger or earphone but if you got a defective one .. flipkart will give you Rs 450  to get new earphones and charger ! yes only Rs 450 to get stuff worth Rs 2000. So this in unfair in many ways ! .

So guys these were some defects and disadvantages of Moto G 2nd Generation . keep them in considiration before buying a mobile device
